TICKETS GO ON SALE OCTOBER 2.
Thursday, Oct. 29 | 5:30–8:30 p.m.
Ages 21+
The museums are all yours for the night.
Enjoy an adults-only evening exploring the Kirby Science Discovery Center and Visual Arts Center, then head under the dome at the Sweetman Planetarium for a journey through some of the universe’s eeriest wonders.
During “Spooky Skies”, drift past ghostly nebulae, fiery stellar nurseries and mysterious formations resembling skulls, spiders, owls and more. Dr. Ken Murphy will lead live presentations at 6 and 7 p.m., exploring vampire stars, dying suns, stellar explosions and distant galaxies hiding in the cosmic shadows.
Grab a cocktail, explore the museums without the kiddos and experience the darker side of the universe. Come as you are or get into the Halloween spirit and wear a costume.
