On Saturday, September 27 in the Belbas Theater of the Washington Pavilion, trumpeter Alex Massa directs the South Dakota Jazz Orchestra with special guest vocalist and pianist Tony DeBlois as they cruise through 50 years of The Chairman’s repertoire and provide fascinating history of the man who defied all odds – and the government – in his road to immortality.
Tony DeBlois, born blind and autistic and less than three pounds, embodies the resilient spirit of this music and of Frank himself. Having received a full ride to the Berklee School of Music at age 15, Tony had the makings of a star from a young age. Now, having performed in multiple countries around the world, and most recently performing at The United Nations in June of 2025, Tony is ready to bring the music of Frank to your ears.

The VIP party will be between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., and will include a complimentary glass of wine and light snacks.
